Scheduled Mercedes Benz Maintenance

A critical parameter to keeping the cost of ownership low on a Mercedes-Benz is to maintain it on a regular basis. Each Mercedes-Benz is equipped with a Flexible System (FSS), for most drivers, the FSS indicates an interval at approximately 10,000 miles. The following intervals are recommended by Mercedes-Benz:

  • Schedule “A”: This is recommended at 3,000 to 5,000-mile intervals and includes an oil and filter change as well as a check of all exterior lamps and horn operation, fluid levels, cabin filters, air pressure in tires, belts, brakes, hoses, shocks, front and rear end for wear, throttle, flex disc, and windshield wipers.
  • Schedule “B”: Performed at 30,000-mile intervals and includes all the items listed in “A” as well as a servicing of the automatic transmission, fuel filter, and power steering fluid and filter.
  • Oil change, brake pad replacement, preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance, check engine light scan, automatic transmission fluid and air conditioning.
  • Mercedes-Benz service list: Synthetic motor oil change and filter renew, cabin dust / combination filter replacement, air filter replacement, brake fluid change, fluid levels check and correction*, tire inflation check and correction**, front and rear brake pads inspection, reset maintenance counter.

Good work, thanks!

Yelp review: Joe has been my family's mechanic for over seven years! We have brought him our Hondas, Toyotas, Mazda, BMW, Lexus and recent Nissan. He is honest, clean shaven, not smelly, and his office is always sparkling clean!

His mechanic David is awesome too! Always answers questions if you have them. We have bought over three good reliable used cars from Joes personal car collection and they are still in great running condition. I will take my car to Joe over CarMax any day! All of our cars pass smog check easy and we consider Joe family.

I would recommend Secors to anyone by far. I have warranty with CarMax and I chose to come back to Joe because of the quality and reliability of his work. WE LOVE YOU JOE!

They were as good as advertised. Polite and efficient service here.

I have a BMW and a Mercedes-Benz and have been burned by automotive companies in the past. Cars are not my thing, I am lucky to have found Joe at Secor's. I was turned on to him from a friend and I know I have saved money getting my cars fixed there as I've almost always got another quote from someplace else. They always only fixed what absolutely needed to be fixed and didn't give me a laundry list of things that "could/should" be fixed or replaced. That was a bid deal for me. I've told others about Secor's and never heard of a bad experience.

I now live near the coast now and still drive out there if I need anything looked at.

I stopped by in Monday morning unannounced with a serious oil leak in my 335i. They told me they didn’t have any openings that day but would take me anyway. They had my car ready by 4:00. Amazing.
